Curating the relationship between music and architecture as an ongoing philosophy, realized through our work at Sofar Ankara, where I serve as Producer and Music Director. Over the past four years, our team has staged Sofar Ankara in some of Ankara’s most significant early Republic era embassy buildings, treating each venue as an active collaborator shaped by its acoustics, materiality, and history. Each month, we build pop-up stages that transform interiors into intimate musical scenes, aligning artists and audience flow with the architecture, and translating place into sound through curation and production.
